... passing out is not the way i intended to spend the new year. Really cute kid, though. smart for his age too.
Unfortunately, once again i fail to make the halloween party for the second year in a row. jesus christ. why do heartless and my highly-sensitive nature make me that prone to a simple earth-prime cloaking and solidarity spell making me incapacitated.

Date: 2009-11-10 08:46 pm (UTC)I found an older woman at the library yesterday passed out. At least I helped her recover. She's a refugee... one of the women from what her people here call “Earth-Prime”. She is... so kind. She gave me a package of cookies and a new book to read after I walked her to her house.
She said she would not normally expect a child of my age to be so well behaved. It was slightly embarrassing, but she is so nice to me. She has this.. creature. It flies around but does not speak. It makes motions with its hands. I can sort-of understand what it is saying without words. She said that it was a gift from a famous market festival off world. I would love to travel the way she has. I hope she will tell me a story the next time I see her. She said I reminded her of a half-sibling who left almost two years ago.
